कहिए: यह परचा समझाता है कि हम क्या कर सकते हैं ताकि परमेश्वर हमारी प्रार्थनाएँ सुने।

बाइबल हमें यह बढ़ावा देती है, “सलाह को सुन और शिक्षा कबूल कर, ताकि तू आगे चलकर बुद्धिमान बने।”

60. We are wise, therefore, not to be easily swayed by any teaching or theory that contradicts God’s Word.

इसलिए जब हम ऐसी किसी शिक्षा या सिद्धांत को ठुकरा देते हैं जो परमेश्वर के वचन के खिलाफ होता है तो दरअसल हम बुद्धिमानी दिखा रहे होते हैं।

“दाखमधु ठट्ठा करनेवाला और मदिरा हल्ला मचानेवाली है; जो कोई उसके कारण चूक करता है, वह बुद्धिमान नहीं।”

सो इसलिए यहोवा की सेवा में, अत्यंत जोशीले और सक्रिय रहना स्पष्ट रूप से बुद्धिमानी है।

वह जानता है कि सही और बुद्धि-भरे फैसले कभी-भी अटकलें लगाकर, जज़्बात में बहकर या दूसरों की देखा-देखी नहीं किए जाते।

यहोवा ने कितनी बखूबी से साबित किया है कि वह अपने सर्वशक्तिमान सामर्थ्य का, एक ग़लत इस्तोमल करनेवाला नहीं, बल्कि एक बुद्धिमान और प्रेममय इस्तेमाल करनेवाला है!

लेकिन सबसे अहम बात यह है कि उन्हें गुणी, परमेश्वर का भय मानने वाला, सच्चा, अन्याय के लाभ से घृणा करने वाला होना चाहिये था और जो बुद्धिमान और समझदार थे।

73. The apostle Paul’s counsel, therefore, is truly wise: “It is a means of great gain, this godly devotion along with self-sufficiency.”

प्रेषित पौलुस ने क्या ही बुद्धि-भरी सलाह दी: “परमेश्वर की भक्ति ही अपने आप में बड़ी कमाई है, बशर्ते कि जो हमारे पास है हम उसी में संतोष करें।”

एक बुद्धिमान इंसान कोई भी काम हाथ में लेने से पहले उसके फायदे-नुकसान को आँकेगा और जाँचेगा कि उसमें जो मेहनत और लागत लगेगी, उससे कोई फायदा भी होगा या नहीं।

76. Yet, with wise planning, thoughtful cooperation, good communication and, above all, heartfelt prayer, you can fulfill the responsibilities of honoring your loved ones.

फिर भी, अगर आप पहले से अच्छी योजना बनाएँ, अपने परिवार को सहयोग दें, खुलकर बातचीत करें और सबसे ज़रूरी, यहोवा से प्रार्थना करें, तो आप अपने अज़ीज़ जनों का आदर करने की अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी बखूबी निभा पाएँगे।

77. If a wise and experienced person is not inclined to give unsolicited advice, we may have to draw him out to get his counsel.

अगर एक आदमी बहुत बुद्धिमान और तजुरबेकार है, मगर जब तक उससे न पूछो तब तक वह किसी को सलाह नहीं देता, तो शायद उससे सलाह पाने के लिए हमें खुद पहल करके उससे पूछना पड़े।

यदि प्रति वर्ष व्यय के आधार पर देखें तो तेल की कीमत में एक डालर की वृद्धि से अर्थव्यवस्था पर लगभग 17.7 मिलियन रुपये का भार पड़ता है।
